Property Owners

The Property Owners Association is self-managed and is comprised of volunteer residents to handle any and all needs of the community. It is the mission of the Bay Shores Property Owners Association to preserve Bay Shores as a premier community by protecting, maintaining, managing and enhancing the assets of the Association and advancing the interests of the homeowners. The Purpose of this website is to provide residents with access to information about our community, as well as contact information for our Property Owners’ Association (POA) Board of Directors and committees

Bay Shores is made up of 32 property owners. Our community is known for its beautiful trees and custom-built homes tucked away in a secluded section of Pamlico County. In addition to our private road and community boat launch, Bay Shores has the best of both worlds whether you like waterfront property or you prefer the privacy of acreage, we’ve got it all! Access to community dock and launch are for members and their guests only and slips are property of lots not on the water – see guidelines for more information.

Bay Shores is in the Pamlico County School District. Students in our community will likely go to Pamlico Primary School, Fred A. Anderson Elementary, Pamlico County Middle School, and Senior High School. We also offer alternatives with the Pamlico Christian Academy or Arapahoe Charter School along with a number of groups for homeschoolers.
